Hi! I’m Christine, and along with my husband Rylie, we are the proud owners of Arts In Motion Performing Arts Centre.
As parents to three young girls ourselves, we know how important it is to find a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment where your child can learn, grow, and shine. It’s this understanding — and our deep love for the arts — that fuels everything we do.
We are proud to be a locally owned, family-run business in Red Deer. Since opening our doors in 2014, our mission has been to create a space where creativity and community come together — a second home where children feel supported, celebrated, and inspired every single day.
Arts In Motion is the sister company to Dance Magic Studio, a trusted name in Red Deer for over 37 years. Since 1987, Dance Magic has brought the joy of dance, music, and the arts to families across our community. We are honored to continue that legacy, offering a truly unique childcare experience where the arts are woven into every moment of our day.
At Arts In Motion, we believe participation in the arts develops creativity, connection, and valuable life skills. Through hands-on, meaningful experiences in music, dance, movement, and creative exploration, children access essential skills for early development and future academic success — all while building confidence, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our Environment:
Children at Arts In Motion are placed in developmentally appropriate classrooms and enjoy the opportunity to explore a wide variety of learning spaces throughout their day. From our cozy Music Rooms to our professional Dance and Acro Studio, our vibrant Indoor Play Space, and thoughtfully designed Outdoor Playgrounds, every area is designed to spark imagination and movement. Rather than spending the day in one classroom, children experience the joy of moving through different environments, keeping their minds curious, their bodies active, and their hearts happy.
Our dedicated team of passionate educators and artists create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where every child feels seen, heard, and valued. Through a balance of play-based learning and arts-based programming, we help children develop into capable, confident, creative, and caring human beings.
